mariokart video

with 2 comments

I’m currently testing out two different free video hosting services, Vimeo and YouTube. Vimeo lets me upload only 20MB/month, but has a nicer interface/navigation features, and integrates with Flickr, while YouTube lets me upload unlimited videos up to 100MB each in size, let’s me embed them into my own website using a flash player, but also degrades the quality. Which would you guys prefer? Linking offsite? Or embedding it right onto my blog?Check out this video of Don getting worked by Andrew in mariokart for the Super Nintendo.

update: I completely missed the “embedding video” feature that vimeo already has…so currently the only downside to Vimeo is the limited uploading video size, which I think I can deal with because I don’t take that many videos with my camera. Vimeo wins!
