Hey, great present imo…
in the box you’ll get the ds, an extra stylus, and the ac charger. The battery is built-in and rechargeable so no need to worry about buying batteries all the time.
i’ve seen it on slickdeals where you get the ds + 1 game (usually brain age) for 121 + shipping or something like that. Brain Age is a good starter game (only $20). Or the new Planet Puzzle League is next on my list of games to buy.

Looks like the Circuit City deal is now $20 off when you buy 3 accessories. Blech.

Not sure what 3 accessories you’d buy right off the bat, but that sort of nullifies the $20 off. I got a free DS holder/carrying case when I bought mine, and I’ve bought a game case as well. That was only $5.

So should I go ahead and buy one of these? I’ve been contemplating it… I don’t have much travel coming up, but I can see it being useful for when the GF is going to bed, but I want to stay up playing games.
The new black/red one is hotttt!

Mike, I really like mine…it’s cheap, games are cheap and fun…so i’d have to say, buy one definitely.

Well… I did it. I got the new red/black one and two add’l games.
My reasons were…
1) Traveling to India and Japan in the next 6 months, both with people who have them.
2) I found out the game I was going to take on my laptop doesn’t work.
3) Office DS battles.
4) Strip Tetris.
I should have ordered last week because the ship date is now ~4 days later (8/31) than it was when I checked. If I don’t get it by India the wifey offered for me to take hers. I ordered the games separately so I should have them regardless.
