Maybe it’s just me getting old, but I definitely agree with the second half of this article - MSNBC: Twitter Nation: Nobody Cares What You’re Doing.
Not that blogs are much different from this though…

I feel the same about people who stay on AIM 24/7 with an away message telling us everything they’re doing. We really don’t need to know you’re going to 7/11 to buy a pregnancy test and beer because you want to be able to celebrate when you find out you really didn’t knock up your g/f.
