Went to the Nat’s game on Friday.  Weather was perfect.  Ben’s Chili Bowl was had, a rare 14th inning stretch, and we won 4-3 in the bottom of the 14th.

I think that I’m on the areas worst power grid ever, because my electricity basically goes out when I sneeze. Even when I rented in N. Arlington I ended up losing power every time the wind blew. Can someone fix this (Dominion Electric?!)? I lost power for almost two days from the storm a week or two ago, and then again for a day from Monday’s storm. Luckily I didn’t have to throw away much food. This is a huge downer because everything fun in my house runs on electricity. Books are alright I guess, but Mariokart Wii is infinitely more fun.

Harvard gets the greatest commencement speakers (if you haven’t seen Conan O’Brien’s Harvard commencement speech, check it out…). This year, JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, gave the speech. While it wasn’t with as many zingers as Conan’s, she has some great life advice…

This post is from my phone because my electricity has been out due to yesterdays crazy storm. I just read the article below on WTOP.com that says some areas might not get electricity back until Saturday. Needless to say this is no fun and I miss the comforts of home electronics.

It’s been a long journey on my site/blog, but I’ve reached for 400th post. I’ve come a long way since my first post, got into writing music reviews for DOA for a short stint, and eventually just started posting pictures and videos of my trips.

I saw the new Indiana Jones last night, and it stuck to the classic Indiana Jones formula, with some pretty cartoonish moments thrown in. Let’s just say Shia LaBeouf can really get up to speed on those vines. All in all entertaining.

I’ve never seen something like this before. Watch the video of the zoetrope below…at first it looks like it’s just a bunch of Toy Story figurines spinning, but then add some strategically timed lights and they come to life. I think my brain just exploded…and I might have to see this in person.
