Gatorade’s Analytics Mission Control

leave a comment »

I love that Gatorade is taking analytics seriously enough to give it its own campaign.  Check out their mission control area where they monitor their website, commercials, twitter, and facebook interactions.

Go Caps!

with 2 comments

I haven’t posted in a long time.  I’ve been busy but also have been glued to the TV rooting for the Caps in the NHL Playoffs.  They barely pulled out the series win against the Rangers, and so far so good in our 2nd round series against the Penguins – thanks to a brilliant save from Varlamov.  If you haven’t seen it, check it out.  Robbed Crosby of his second goal of the game.

Pictures from Juniper Lane / Coldplay @ Verizon

Coldplay @ Verizon
I’ve just posted my pictures from the Coldplay concert on Flickr, where Juniper Lane opened up.  They did great, and I thought the crowd had a very good response to their short set.  Not many of my pictures came out that well because we were a bit far away, and they didn’t light up the stage that much for Juniper Lane.

Check out the set of pictures: Juniper Lane / Coldplay Set on Flickr.

Also, I caught a local celebrity sitting right by us.  Click through to find out who it was! Read the rest of this entry »

Toy Story Zoetrope Video

with one comment

I’ve never seen something like this before. Watch the video of the zoetrope below…at first it looks like it’s just a bunch of Toy Story figurines spinning, but then add some strategically timed lights and they come to life. I think my brain just exploded…and I might have to see this in person.
